Learn how to do a right leaning decrease and create a neat edge to shape your garments
In this easy to follow knitting tutorial we will show you all you need to know to carry out a right leaning decrease in your knitting, often called a 'knit two together' or 'k2tog'. Make sure to only knit two stitches together, when you're knitting stocking stitch and are on the right side of your knitting. Knit to where you want your decrease to be.
Insert the right needle into the first two stitches on the left needle as if you are going to knit them.
Wrap the yarn, pull it through and slip the stitch off as for a regular knit stitch.
You have now decreased one stitch.
