Get those seams nice and neat with the perpendicular invisible seaming technique (easier to do than say!)
This easy to follow video tutorial shows you how to give a neat finish to your knits by using the perpendicular invisible seam technique. This technique is used to join the edges of knitted fabric to a cast on or cast off edge. It is perfect for seaming up sweater sleeves.
Place your knitting pieces side by side at right angles to each other and with the ride side facing up.
Insert the sewing needle under the first stitch on the piece with a cast on or cast off edge.
Insert the needle under the horizontal bar on the piece with a side edge.
Pull the yarn through.
Repeat this and pull the yarn through so that the two pieces join together.
To compensate for having more stitches than rows, insert the needle under two horizontal bars at the same time every third stitch.
